Making A Difference as A Business Development Officer in Open Spaces, Environment Waste & Traded Services

This post represents an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in supporting and delivering the Council’s waste and recycling commercial services to fee paying customers. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is experienced in delivering and selling customer facing services that generate income.



It is an exciting time to join our team as we expand and develop our commercial waste services working with local businesses, schools and residents to provider a wider range of fee paying waste and recycling services. This will help support St Helens ambition to be Net zero as a Borough by 2040.



If you have the passion for helping to improve the environment and support the Council and local businesses to reduce carbon this could be the ideal position for you.



You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities for the Council and will deliver and promote the Councils chargeable waste services. You will manage and deliver these services and develop marketing plans and customer service standards while expanding the customer base and developing new services.
