By now, you should all know that PermiServ provides Garden Waste permits, but what makes us different from other companies that offer to do the same thing?
Well, here is the thing that you may not realise⦠Nobody else does the same thing as PermiServ Ltd!
Here at PermiServ, we are boldly and proudly unique in what we offer local authorities, not only providing a print service and not only providing a mailing service as others do, but our state-of-the-art software that accompanies the permits is the real star of the show and the reason so many local authorities have come to us to make their lives so much easier when it comes to their Garden Waste Service.
At PermiServ, we develop our own software with our very own and VERY talented Developers. This means that we really can make our system do anything physically possible to match your requirements. Working with so many local authorities though, we have designed our software to meet the most common needs we come across in our day-today dealings.
- The ability to take photos and upload them.
Having this feature allows the crew to be able to gather photographic evidence of wrong bins, incorrect contents in bins and any bins that are damaged, to name just a few reasons. This is something that the local authority is easily able to access if a resident contacts them asking for reasons why bins were not emptied, for example.
- Dynamic QR Codes that link directly to a local authority's website.
These QR Codes are little things that have a massive impact! They printed on the permits and, using the magic of technology, PermiServ are able to display the local authority's chosen information. Most popular choices are collection calendars, seasonal information and what is accepted in the particular bin. Some local authorities have seen this technology as a way to reduce their waste. It is possible to have a QR Code link straight to the terms and conditions, meaning that this does not have to be posted out to the residents, saving paper, print, money and reducing their carbon footprint. Having seasonal information linked to the QR Code such as Christmas collections, or bank holiday information, means there is no need for swing tags on the bin, stopping the need for single use plastics. The QR Codes can also be scanned by crews to show collections have taken place and what time or to capture any information that is wanted by the local authority. The important thing to note is that this is completely customisable and can be completely tailored to requirements.
- Management Reporting.
Garden Waste Services are a fantastic source of revenue for local authorities. PermiServ offer the ability to be able to check year-on-year sales, losses, replacement permits, stolen bins etc.
So, as you can see, PermiServ do SO much more than just print and mail out Garden Waste permits... though we do that really well too
