At Anglo Doorstep Collections, we believe in celebrating the councils driving real change in reuse. Our mission is simple: make it easy for UK residents to give their unwanted goods a second life — and make sure that reuse data doesn’t go unreported.
Each month, we collect over 800 tonnes of quality, reusable household items on behalf of dozens of local authorities. Everything is WDF-compliant, and the results speak for themselves.
For May to June, we’ve crunched the data and found three clear leader-boards. Some councils achieved a dramatic percentage increase in reuse tonnage. Others delivered sheer volume uplift. Both matter — both are worth shouting about.
But the public doesn’t see spreadsheets. They see social media. Every time a council shares our service — through their website, e-newsletters, Facebook, or Instagram — bookings rise. Reuse tonnage rises. WDF tonnage rises. It’s that simple.
Our ask? If you're not seeing this kind of uplift yet, talk to us. We can help activate your residents, reduce your bulky waste load, and increase your reported reuse — all at zero cost to your council.
If your council is already working with us — thank you. Let’s do more.
If your council hasn’t yet claimed your WDF reports — or isn’t sure how — let’s talk. We currently hold unclaimed reuse reports for over 200 UK councils.
