Welcome to LARAC's new look website! In response to the ever changing world of communications, and to feedback from our members we have made significant changes to make the site easier to use and better to view on portable devices. Our aim was to make our members' day jobs slightly less stressful by making all the information and ideas that they need easy to find wherever they are.
The site has a number of new features including the rotating slide show on the home page giving you a taste of what's going on in the rest of the site, new regional pages which can be updated by your regional rep -so keep an eye on them for regional info, and the useful info section which contains consultation responses, policy positions, legislation for the four governments, and the waste industry directory. For the first time all the member facilities are on the front of the site, so you can sign in from the home page and navigate between the front of the site to the members' area much more easily, and when you sign in you go straight to the latest discussions in the forum. Forgotten your password? No problem, the website will automatically contact members via the email address we have for your authority.
My thanks go to the LARAC team who worked on the project and to our many supporters and sponsors who have helped us make the improvements happen. I hope that you will now get stuck in and use the site.
