As RWM draws closer and closer, the excitement becomes almost tangible. PRYSM are close to finalising the entire event, and as things pick up speed towards the event it only takes a brief step back to realise how monumentally massive the event is going to be.
With the entire PRYSM Enviromental Portfolio running alongside RWM, the NEC will be completely jam packed come the 12th and 13th September. The Contamination Series, Flood Expo, Marine & Civil Coastal Engineering and Future Resource will be the events that surround RWM, making for the most comprehensive environmental expo the UK has ever seen. With this breadth comes a diverse visitor base, making for truly unrivalled networking opportunities across industries, something RWM prides itself on providing.
As well as this amazing diversity, RWM will be hosting the true hub of innovation within the waste industry as it allows Innovate UK to take the helm on Innovation City. Innovation City will be a dedicated space within the RWM halls where companies hand selected by Innovate UK will be able to display and explain their groundbreaking research and development. Funding is available from Innovate UK, who will be on hand to discuss the opportunities available for possible funding, using the Innovation City as a live example.
With all of this content freely ready for visitors to discover across all the events, there has to be time to attend one of the many industry leading seminars that will take place across the two days.
With representatives from Google Digital Garage and Adtrak being on hand to lead seminars divulging how best to utilise online marketing, local authority leaders such as Bristol Councillor Kye Dudd will be discussing his award winning Slim My Waste Campaign. Furthermore, former Green Party leader Natalie Bennett will have a fascinating seminar looking into the need for fully fleshed out sustainability targets that take into consideration the broader impact they may have.
RWM is on track to be the biggest it has ever been, as well as being the biggest and most all-inclusive environmental event within the UK.
