We have produced and delivered over half a million garden waste permits over the last 12 months. To celebrate that fact, we are rebuilding our management portal to further improve usability.
We will further develop our API capability to build on current success so that existing CRMs and payment gateways can drop data to us without the need for human intervention. That means that data hits us faster and permits get delivered to residents faster. We are adding API reporting features so that councils can use their in-house tools to query when a permit was dispatched. The idea is always to reduce admin for customer services.
We are employing more staff and equipment to reduce lead-times.
Through discussions with our existing service users, we are developing a knowledge-base so that we can all learn and make improvements. One notable development this year has been the focus on envelope design. Better design makes for lower rates of replacement and in-turn, a reduction in cost to the council.
Increasing capacity in our service and development team has been essential over the last year with the dramatic uplift in demand. We are looking forward to further increasing capacity as new councils sign-up. Although the management portal is very intuitive, it's always good to have a dedicated account manager available if you have a question.
The move to ultra-tack industrial-grade permits has proved very successful. These permits have now been tested hard by half a million bins across the UK and done us proud!
