Permiserv Announces The Little Green Event 2025 and Garden Waste Award
Permiserv is proud to announce the return of its annual live garden waste event—now rebranded as The Little Green Event—taking place on Wednesday 18th June 2025 at the Park Regis Hotel, Birmingham. This free, one-day conference brings together professionals across the garden waste and recycling sector to drive better services together.
After two successful years of ‘Better Waste Services Live!’, this year’s event marks the first under the banner of the Little Green Network, a growing industry hub dedicated to best practice in garden waste management.
Attendees can expect a dynamic programme of live insights, council case studies, and panel discussions focused on key challenges and opportunities in the sector. The day opens with updates on the 2025 garden waste landscape, followed by real-world examples from councils including Shropshire, Chesterfield, and Coventry. Topics will span everything from service workflows and technology to revenue protection and integrations.

The event will conclude with the announcement of The Garden Waste Award 2025, now open for entries, celebrating excellence across local authorities in delivering outstanding garden waste services. Following last year’s win by Ipswich Council for their exemplary approach, this year’s award is open to any council team achieving:

- Boosted tonnage collected
- Improved communications or delivery
- Service innovation or customer satisfaction
How to Enter: Submit a 500-word summary and optional supporting materials via the entry form by Friday 23rd May 2025. The winner will be revealed during the award ceremony at The Little Green Event.
