As I'm writing this it is midday on the final day of RWM - the hall is buzzing still - it is genuinely the busiest final day at the exhibition that I've every experienced - and I've been coming for 11 years.
Lee and I have had a great three days. We have met members and put the waste world to rights with them, and we've had the added bonus of potentially having three authorities re-join the organisation and will be welcoming at least one new partner for the new year (fingers crossed). So we are definitely hopeful that the LARAC fold will be expanding over the next weeks and months.
We've had very interesting discussions about particular problems facing local authorities such as the issue of timber recycling and landfill and also the problems around recycling paint - look out for articles on those subjects in the coming LARAC OnLines.
If you didn't make it to RWM I certainly hope to see you at our own conference next month.
