The most recent addition to the VIP Bin Cleaning network is Richard Lain, who is the new franchisee for Ipswich and surrounding areas.
Richard, in conjunction with the VIP Bin leaning Network Support team, launched the franchise at the end of July 2016 and has already received a warm and positive response from both domestic and commercial sectors of the business.
Richard is an experienced businessman as well as being the president of Ipswich Rugby Club, so he is a well-known figure in the area.
Richard first identified the requirement and opportunity for a professional bin cleaning service in Ipswich through his contacts in business, especially the waste management sector. He looked at various operational and marketing options available and after meetings with VIP Bin Cleaning, which included a Discovery Day at their head office in Norfolk, decided they were the company most suited to promote the service in the correct professional manner.
Franchisees at VIP Bin Cleaning have a choice of bespoke equipment which includes both vehicle and trailer based options. After surveying the territory and potential customer base, Richard decided to purchase the new Lightweight Trailer Cleaning Unit which is designed to be able to clean both commercial and domestic bins.
Richard said: “Through my business and social contacts I identified that professional cleaning of waste disposal equipment is a service that is rapidly growing in demand in both the commercial and domestic markets. Currently it is an optional decision by both sectors but with fast changing standards and increasing levels of due diligence I believe it will be a requirement in the near future which Environmental Health and Technical Departments will demand.
“After extensive market research I realised that to have maximum impact and take full advantage of the opportunities, I needed to promote a truly professional service and image. I wanted to be able to offer all potential customers the full range of professional services that would be expected which includes quality machinery, bio degradable cleaning products, licences and accreditations, technical and commercial support, back-up and managerial internal processes.
“With 20 years of invaluable national and International experience in their own business and franchising opportunities it became a straight forward decision to join the VIP Bin Cleaning Group who offer this full package and more to their franchisees and customers.
