Here at PermiServ, we’re delighted to bring you our latest in-person event: ‘Better Waste Services Live: Garden Waste 2024’. Building on the success of our first live event last September and our webinar in January, we’ll be hosting our next event on Tuesday 2nd July at Birmingham’s Park Regis Hotel.
This time, we’ll be doing a deep dive into garden waste services: hearing from councils how they have made the transition to chargeable services, and exploring how councils and service providers can learn from each other to make garden waste solutions as efficient as possible.
Completely free to attend, Better Waste Services Live: Garden Waste 2024 will feature a fantastic line-up of expert speakers from local authorities, as well as talks from leading industry voices such as Dan Roberts from WRAP and Bartec’s Tim Hobbs.
Through working closely with councils, we know first-hand how hard everyone across the industry works, and we believe their commitment to excellence should be rewarded. So, we will also be presenting an award for the Best Chargeable Garden Waste Solution. Entries are open now and you can submit yours via the link below. Good luck to all entrants – we’re looking forward to announcing the winner on the day.
Since we took our very first permit order from a council back in 2015, we’ve truly made garden waste our business. By listening to councils and learning from them, we have been able to use their insights to develop and improve our services, and now repeat our processes with more than 100 local authorities each year. We take the same collaborative approach with our live and online events, aiming to create hubs where councils and industry leaders can connect, share knowledge and experiences, and work together to drive innovation and progress across the waste industry. In the spirit of collaboration, if there’s a particular subject you’d like to hear covered on the day, please contact rebecca@permiserv.com and we will do our best to make sure it is included.
“We run these events because an increasing number of councils are moving to chargeable waste and we want to give them a platform to share lessons learnt, what to do and what not to do. We know after our eight years in this industry that the more councils share knowledge, the better the services run,” says PermiServ Sales Director Louise Lambourne.
