Impact Environmental Group (IEG), a global environmental products and services business providing a suite of new and replacement products for waste and recycling containers, collection and compaction equipment, and waste transportation equipment, plays an important role in the pursuit of a circular economy.
With an aligned portfolio of UK-based brands including Taylor, Duraflex™, UKCM and Capital Compactors & Balers, the organisation procures top-quality materials and is a key advocate for sustainability.
Notably, the company is working towards company-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration, harnessing the latest cutting-edge software for a seamless customer experience with a breadth of offering unique to the sector. Utilising its multiple locations spread across the UK, IEG is achieving minimised product travel time, reaffirming its commitment to meeting customer needs promptly and sustainably.
The substantial environmental contribution that IEG makes can be seen across each of the four EMEA companies…
Container Components Europe (CCE)
Uniquely focused on the manufacture and supply of DuraFlex™ lids for the global waste and recycling markets, this year CCE celebrated the phenomenal success of its award-winning Recycling Scheme. Since establishing its environmental initiative CCE has recycled over half a million lids, taking in the old parts and remanufacturing them as new.
Further highlighting its commitment to waste reduction and journey to zero waste, CCE also utilises excess/waste powder to create pallets for use in its factory.
Taylor
Taylor products promote culture change and attitudes towards waste, reducing waste and helping people to improve recycling within their communities. With an ever-expanding range of lid types to transform the use of its CONTINENTAL bin range, Taylor is a key component in increasing recycling and influencing the habits of waste producers.
From a public health and safety perspective, the Duraflex lid on the Taylor bin has been shown, in the event of a fire inside, to put it out. Making it a superior fire safety option when compared to a completely plastic or completely metal bin.

Capital Compactors & Balers Limited (CCL)
As the UK’s leading manufacturer of waste and recycling compactors and balers, CCL provides machinery that waste operators and end-users acquire through rental contracts or upfront equipment purchases. The compactors and balers are constructed using high-grade materials, boosting longevity and helping reduce downtime.
CCL’s machines enable customers to decrease the number of empties, reducing waste transport costs and the carbon impact of their waste.
UK Container Maintenance (UKCM)
UKCM works across the UK offering waste companies and local authorities waste container repair and refurbishment services. The process brings old, and often unwanted, waste containers back to life instead of them going to scrap. The business model – refurbishment over replacement - is simple.

Over the past 25 years, UKCM has repaired, refurbished and reused over 2 million waste containers for its customers, ranging from wheeled bins to 40 cubic yard RoRos, making a significant contribution to the circular economy, and securing major cost savings for public and private sector organisations.
