Droitwich, UK – 5th September 2025 – Impact Environmental Group (IEG EMEA), a global environmental products and services business, is pleased to announce the acquisition of one of the UK’s leading providers of compactors, balers and waste handling solutions from Brask & Cece.

This latest acquisition will be immediately rebranded as IEG Preston and represents another important step in IEG EMEA’s growth strategy. It strengthens the Group’s ability to deliver both new and refurbished compaction and baling equipment, while also expanding its UK-wide service capability.

The move further extends IEG’s presence in the UK market and complements a growing portfolio of well-known and trusted brands. These include:

  • IEG Oak Park (formerly Egbert Taylor)
  • IEG Chesterfield (formerly Container Components Europe)
  • IEG Winsford (formerly UK Container Maintenance)
  • IEG Barnsley (formerly Capital Compactors and Balers)

With the addition of IEG Preston, the Group is now able to offer customers even greater scale, capacity and technical expertise across compaction and baling.

Pete Dickson, General Manager at IEG EMEA, said:
“IEG EMEA has continued its growth in the UK, with the acquisition of a suite of compactor and baler businesses from Brask & Cece. These businesses perfectly complement IEG’s existing products, services and market presence in the compactor and baler sector, effectively doubling its size. The combined business will be excellent news for both existing and prospective customers once we integrate fully.”

David Hamer, Operations Director of IEG Preston, added:
“Becoming part of IEG creates a fantastic opportunity for our businesses and, more importantly, for our customers. We now have access to a wider network, an expanded range of products and services, and the backing of a group that is firmly committed to innovation and customer service. This means we can support our clients with more tailored solutions, faster response times, and an even stronger service offering than ever before.”

The integration of IEG Preston into the wider Group will see IEG operate with the largest specialist field service team and largest rental book in the UK compactor and baler sector. It also provides a dedicated Preston-based facility for refurbishment and service operations, further enhancing the Group’s ability to respond to customer needs quickly and efficiently.
