The Impact Environmental Group has greatly strengthened its position to become a leading European operator in the provision of waste and recycling products and service solutions.

In 2023, two further UK acquisitions cemented the group as a global waste industry category leader, with UK Container Maintenance (UKCM) and Capital Compactors and Balers (CCL), joining Container Components Europe (manufacturer of Duraflex lids) and Egbert H Taylor, to sit within the UK-based portfolio of industry-leading brands.

Founded in 1999, IEG, headquartered in Elgin, Illinois, has rapidly grown into a global environmental products and services business, providing a comprehensive suite of new and replacement products for waste containers, collection and compaction equipment, and waste transportation equipment.

Managing Director David Williams heads up the new IEG EMEA board and is joined by Commercial Director Pete Dickson and Finance Director Lisa Bull – all of whom have considerable UK waste industry experience.
