LARAC has raised our members' concerns regarding the short deadline for feedback on the pEPR letters, and DEFRA has agreed to extend this slightly and accept responses until the end of the day on 10 January 2025.
LARAC strongly encourages all members to use this opportunity to give feedback to DEFRA on any questions, queries or concerns they may have relating to the pEPR information and payment amounts they have been communicated.

This opportunity to provide feedback follows the release of the information and guidance on pEPR payments and the Effectiveness metrics and evaluation at the end of November.
Whilst we were keen to highlight the unfortunate timing of the feedback period falling over the holidays, DEFRA has stated that any extension to the deadline risks knock-on delays to the legislation and payments. It was also noted that there will be further opportunities for feedback following the sharing of later payment information.
