DEFRA Change Network - Communications and Behaviour Change webinar
The DEFRA Change Network was created to support local authorities and others to prepare for the new household collection requirements, which took effect from 31 March 2026.
As a part of the ongoing series of webinars, DEFRA will be delivering a session on Communications and Behaviour Change on 28th April 2026.
As follows:
- Learn from Industry experts and experienced Local Authority staff who will champion key insights and tools needed for effective communications on Simpler Recycling for household collections. The session and its supporting resources cover the importance of effective communications, the tailoring of communications to an audience, clear messaging, the facilitation of behaviour change, and gives tips to avoid costly mistakes.
