Fixed Term until June 2019
The successful applicant will support the Waste Services Manager in managing contracts such as the waste and cleansing contract and the public conveniences cleansing and maintenance contracts. The successful applicant will be required to liaise with contractors and monitor their performance.
The postholder is required to ensure that residents, businesses and tourists comply with their obligations under a wide range of environmental legislation.
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent. Experience of contract monitoring within a local government environment is essential, as well as experience of multi-agency and cross departmental working.
