An opportunity has arisen within the Cleansing team; we are looking to recruit 2 x Waste Education and Enforcement officers on a full time (37hrs per week), 1 year fixed term basis (With potential to extend a further year). 

This post requires you to enforce NCC policies on litter, dog fouling and other waste related issues.  The post will primarily focus on issuing fixed penalty notices and Community Protection Notices to individuals found dropping litter and not clearing up after their dogs.  This will also involve conducting interviews and applying enforcement procedures when needed.

We are looking for candidates with excellent communications skills and previous experience in enforcement. Ability to work as part of a team but also as a lone worker is needed. Full driving license is essential, and work will be carried out in all weather conditions and with flexible shifts to allow for early starts or late finishing times whenever needed.
