An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Council’s Strategic Waste Policy Team Based in South Kirkby. Working within a small team the individual will assist in the administration and operational monitoring of the Councils long term waste management contract. 

The candidate will carry out administrative duties including minute taking, data manipulation, report writing and maintaining databases and data storage areas. The candidate will also assist in the operational support function and be required to monitor facilities against standards Good working knowledge of Microsoft office and excellent communication skills are required for the role. Experience of working within a busy office environment as well as an operational environment would be beneficial. Working alongside Street Scene and other corporate teams the post holder will ensure strong working relationships with partners and stakeholders are developed and maintained, whist contributing to the effective delivery of services. 

You will be expected to monitor facilities across the District, so the use of a car is essential.
