We have an exciting opportunity for a Resource Management Specialist to join the Government and Communities team at WRAP.
The post-holder will lead on developing and maintaining relationships across the whole of the Resource Management value chain, focussing on waste management and recycling and reprocessing companies. The post-holder will use their in-depth understanding of how the value chain operates, along with their contacts in the sector to drive actions across key areas that will deliver against WRAP’s programmes and targets including The UK Plastics Pact, consistent collections, increased supply of quality secondary materials and markets for recycled plastics.
In order to be successful in this role, candidates will need to evidence a strong general understanding of the reprocessing of all packaging materials, along with demonstrable experience of building effective relationships with a range of stakeholders and leading successful initiatives to improve impact and create opportunities. Proven ability to influence and negotiate, as well as the ability to convey complex messages in straight-forward way are also essential.
