The Operations Advisor (Service Change) will work as a member of WRAP Cymru’s Collaborative Change Programme team to support local authorities in Wales to improve their waste and recycling services. They will provide advice and support to local authorities to help them in improving the recycling services they provide and reducing waste. In particular, the Operations Advisor (Service Change) will provide specialist support and guidance on operational matters and work with frontline staff during the implementation of new services, service changes and operational efficiencies.
The successful applicant will have significant operational experience of supervising teams delivering waste collection and recycling services; implementing significant service changes /mobilising new contracts for collection and recycling services and in planning and delivering waste collection, recycling services, depot management and HWRC provision.
This position will involve working with local authorities undertaking service change/ improvement which will necessitate spending time away from home.
