These are fixed term positions required for 37 hours per week for 2 years.
Pembrokeshire County Council is recruiting a team of proactive Local Environment Advisors to support and promote responsible citizenship and engagement with initiatives surrounding improving our Local Environment.
The Advisors will support the Waste and Recycling team to implement a community engagement strategy to promote Waste Service Changes being implemented at Waste & Recycling Centres and across our kerbside collections systems. The team will engage with Pembrokeshire communities and residents through a number of means including road shows, events, door to door engagements and community meetings, so excellent interpersonal skills and experience of effective communication skills are essential.
The Advisors will also promote local environmental quality and sustainability through community based initiatives to tackle a range of issues including enviro-crime, fly tipping, littering and household waste presentation.
A flexible approach to work is required as visits and events may take place outside of normal working hours.
