An exciting opportunity has arisen within the busy Contracts Management section of Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority.

Merseyside Recycling & Waste Authority is responsible for managing the region’s household waste and has recently entered a new and exciting phase in its history, moving from disposal by landfill to energy recovery of residual waste through a dedicated ‘Energy-from-Waste’ facility.

We are now looking to recruit a dedicated and suitably experienced person as ‘Contracts Officer’ to work within our Contracts Management team to help us ensure effective delivery of the contract services. You will play a pivotal role within the team in helping to ensure successful delivery of services to the public and District Councils through the Authority’s two existing contracts, ensuring effective liaison between the wide range of stakeholders and smooth daily running of the contract services. In addition, you will help the team to deliver a diverse and interesting range of projects aimed at improving the services and taking our contracts to the ‘next level’.

A full valid driving licence is essential for this role.
