About the Job

You will be responsible for supporting the Contracts Management Officer in managing the provision of the waste and environmental maintenance related contracts to ensure that the services delivered are of the required quality and, through liaison with the contractors, that they achieve contractual targets and make proven improvements. 
You will be responsible for undertaking site visits for the purposes of contract monitoring, and collate and analyse this performance data, as well as recording and actioning outcomes. 
You will be a key contact for our Contact Centre providing specialist advice relating to waste, recycling and environmental maintenance. 

About You

We are seeking a self-motivated candidate with previous experience in waste management. You will be observant and proactive, with an appetite to problem solve. As a member of the Waste and Recycling team, you will have an awareness of wider waste management issues. Your excellent communication skills will serve you when liaising with contractors, customers and colleagues. 

You will be IT literate and confident using a range of software and applications including MS Office and customer relationship management systems. 

You will be required to have a full UK driving licence.
