Norfolk Waste Partnership

The Norfolk Waste partnership is looking for an enthusiastic individual to support our joint programme for waste minimisation and better recycling across the county.

The partnership is entering exciting times with a new chapter in waste management being driven by the Governments national waste strategy and has recently agreed an exciting but challenging new programme of work aimed at reducing waste, improving reuse and recycling across the county and tackling waste crime.

Changing behaviours and take up of new or different approaches to waste management will require focussed effort to support these changes. Working closely with the senior managers and Members of the Waste Partnership, and with both waste and communications teams, you will have a key role in developing approaches to and engaging with public and ensuring successful take-up of initiatives.

The Norfolk Waste partnership consists of all the District Councils of Norfolk along with the County Council. The post will be based at one of the authorities in the Norfolk Waste Partnership with consideration given to your location with travel required to support all the authorities in the Partnership at offices and locations across Norfolk. You will provide advice on strategic and tactical communications to the partnership and play a key role in coordinating the work of the partnership across the county.
