RWM is fast approaching with just under a week before the doors of the NEC open and Britain’s biggest environmental expo will officially begin. RWM will have 16 seminar theatres across the whole event, with each one focusing on a specific topic. The Local Authority Theatre will see the likes of Cat Fletcher and Steve Hartley from Brighton and Hove City Council discussing their award winning Freegle initiative whilst Kye Dudd of Bristol City Council will also be discussing his award winning Slim My Waste initiative. Having these councillors discussing their attempts at removing waste from a public perspective really reflects how important events like RWM can be for alerting the public to the efforts they can put in to helping with the global battle against waste. These seminars will provide true highlights of the event and are also non-reservable, so be sure to know your agenda before setting off!
