DEFRA and WRAP are working together to run a series of free collaborative webinars for local authorities on the current consultation Consistency in Household and Business Recycling in England.
These webinars offer a unique opportunity to help officers fully understand the proposals and will address the key questions, provide clarification on the main proposals and support local authorities in submitting their responses.
Each webinar will focus on certain proposals for which DEFRA is seeking views.
Thursday 17 June (2pm - 4.30pm)
Non-Statutory and Statutory guidance: Good practice around collection, exceptions, compliance and enforcement, minimum service standards.
TEEP and TEEP exemptions: Local circumstances mean it is not technically, economically, or environmentally practicable to have separate collection of the recyclable waste streams.
The webinars will focus on those areas of greater interest for local authorities within each topic area. In order to maximise the value of the events to officers and provide useful focus delegates are invited to submit questions in advance of the sessions. We will answer as many pre-submitted questions as we can during Q&A.
If you would like to submit a question in advance, please email email@example.com by 12noon on Wednesday 9 June indicating which webinar session your question relates to. There will also be an opportunity to ask additional questions during the webinars.
