CCN
The Community Composting Network supports and promotes the community management and use of waste bio-degradable resources. It is a member's organisation, self-managed by an elected committee of members.

European Organisation for Packaging and the Environment. Contains useful publications on packaging waste.

Furniture Re-Use Network. The only umbrella organisation for around 300 furniture recycling projects throughout the UK. Also contains a wealth of information on where to send your unwanted hearing aids, spectacles, vinyl records etc.

Industry Council For Electronic Equipment Recycling. ICER is a cross-industry association focusing on waste electrical and electronic equipment ("WEEE"). It is a unique source of knowledge and expertise on WEEE and the key forum fof industry to get together and channel views to decision-makers in government. ICER members include equipment producers, retailers, waste management companies, WEEE treatment facilities(recyclers) and producer compliance schemes.

Nuclear Legacy Forum. NuLeAF seeks to build capacity within local government to engage effectively with nuclear legacy management and works to represent the views of member local authorities to national bodies.

The Organics Recycling Group, previously known as the Association for Organics Recycling (AfOR), recently merged with the REA in January 2013 and provides a technical enquiry service for members and supports enquiries relating to quality standards for compost and digestate, compostable packaging schemes [industrial and home scale] as well as any subject relating to the collection, treatment and use of biodegradable resources. The ORG works closely with the Biogas Group of the REA and many of the companies are members of both.

SCRIB ­ the Steel Can Recycling Information Bureau ­ provides information... on steel packaging recycling to the general public, local authorities and the commercial sector. It is a valuable education resource for teachers, parents and education officers, with downloadable class room activities which can also be done in the home. Our aim is to raise awareness of the importance of recycling steel.
