Hull City Council is looking to recruit a Waste and Open Spaces Project Development Officer to work in the Streetscene Services team.
The role will involve developing and implementing various projects to meet the aims of the Council’s waste strategy.
This will include projects aimed at increasing the quality of recycling and promoting waste minimisation as well as other projects.
The post holder will need to have a good understanding of current waste management issues as well as excellent customer service skills.
A high level of customer contact is required for this role as the post holder is required to influence behaviour and promote the council’s waste management services to local residents.
The successful applicant will be required as a part of a team in in a busy office as well as well as undertaking visits to residents and working closely with the council’s waste collection teams.
