A temporary opportunity has arisen within Waste Management to cover the role of Waste Management Systems Support Manager while the current post holder takes maternity leave. You will report directly to the Head of Service.
You and your team will provide comprehensive support service to the Waste Management department who are responsible for managing predominantly domestic waste collections and waste disposal within the city.
This is an important role and an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated person. The post holder will manage a team of five and be responsible for developing and maintaining management systems required for the operation of the services, the collation of waste data and monitoring performance. The role will also be actively involved in the development of services in Derby.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing a team in ensuring excellent customer service as well as the use and development of CRM systems and the management of complex data. Ideally the candidate will have experience of waste management and the submission of WasteDataFlow returns.
This is a fixed term role for twelve months and would be suitable for a secondment or development opportunity.
