This is an excellent opportunity to join the Hampshire County Council Waste & Resource Management Team as a Project Officer, on a fixed term basis.

With a genuine interest in or knowledge of environmental issues, the post-holder will support the delivery of waste, environmental and sustainability projects and policies. The post will also support a programme of horizon scanning activity to aid in identifying future drivers and opportunities for the team.

The post holder will be able to work with minimal supervision, and manage their time and workload across a range of projects on a matrix basis.

The post holder will be able to use their communication skills, and ability to analyse key information, to support the delivery of projects and support the provision of advice and recommendations. 

The post-holder may also be required to work on and support other projects and programmes as appropriate such as the County Council’s Transformation to 2019 (Tt19).
