Working some of the week from Manchester but also sometimes from Banbury and sometimes travelling nationally, the new post-holder will help to disseminate the benefits of supporting WRAP’s national consumer campaigns within regional communications. This role will focus on urban authorities. The candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of collection, recycling and sorting systems in operation and the relevant policy and legislative context; strong operational experience in planning and delivering recycling and waste collection services in urban areas, as well as demonstrable understanding of local authority structures and processes. The role will also involve engaging with senior stakeholders and decision makes and developing business cases in support of service changes.
